Why Take a LAMDA Exam?

Benchmarking:
LAMDA exams provide a comprehensive measurement of progress in acting and musical theatre, marking each stage of a student's development. These exams support continuous improvement in self-confidence, vocal, and physical techniques. Accredited and monitored by Ofqual, LAMDA exams cater to the abilities of children across all age groups. From young children reciting short poems to teenagers delivering Shakespearean monologues, all ages and abilities are celebrated and acknowledged with nationally recognised qualifications.
Inclusivity:
LAMDA exams benefit a diverse range of students:
-
Enthusiasts of drama and musical theatre
-
Students seeking to refine their technique and prepare for auditions
-
Individuals aiming to enhance their presentation skills
-
Students looking to accumulate UCAS points for university admission
LAMDA's Reasonable Adjustment Policy accommodates students with educational needs and those for whom English is a second language.
Objectivity:
All students are evaluated by a LAMDA examiner, ensuring that students, families, and teachers can trust the fairness and impartiality of the examination process.
