T&Cs

At FORD Performing Arts, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and inspiring environment for students to explore and develop their talents. Our terms and conditions are designed to ensure a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience for all participants. By enrolling in any FORD Performing Arts strand, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Principal and Safeguarding Lead:

• Charlene Ford is the principal and designated safeguarding lead for FORD Performing Arts.

• Any complaints should be made directly to Charlene Ford at charlene@fordperformingarts.com

Booking and Payment:

• Bookings for classes are made through our website and handled by Pembee (our class management provider).

• All payments must be made through Pembee by card, either for the full term or through a subscription method where applicable.

• Payments by monthly subscription are only available for FORD Academy, FORD Dance and FORD Club strands.

• FORD Performing Arts does not accept childcare vouchers as it is a training provider, not a childcare service.

• All payments must be made in advance of the class happening. No refunds will be issued for student absences for any reason.

• Free trials are only available for FORD Academy; no other strands offer free trials.

Cancellation and Withdrawal:

• One term’s notice is required to withdraw from classes. Notice must be given in writing before the last class of the current term. If notice is not given before the last class of term, you will be liable for full payment of the next term.

• Notice should be sent to charlene@fordperformingarts.com

• Students with outstanding payments will not be able to attend classes until their account is settled.

Discounts:

• We offer a 10% sibling discount and a 10% multi-class discount. These discounts are only applicable for bookings completed at the same time and cannot be added at a later date.

• Please note that sibling and multi-class discounts do not apply to those paying fees by monthly subscription. Discounts at FORD Performing Arts are only applicable to full upfront term payments and not applicable to subscriptions.

Attendance and Absence:

• Please report all absences as soon as possible, including planned absences such as holidays and family celebrations.

• Absences should be reported by email to Charlene at charlene@fordperformingarts.com

Safety and Security:

• Parents/Guardians must notify FORD if any child plans to go home alone or be picked up by someone who does not usually do so.

• FORD Performing Arts are not liable for any loss or damage of personal items brought on site.

• Parents/Guardians are not permitted to stay within the premises during FORD sessions unless agreed in advance with the Principal, Charlene Ford, to avoid distractions and ensure a balanced environment for all students.

 

Late Pick-Up Policy:

• If a child is picked up late more than once, a charge of 50% of the class fee will be applied.

Staff Changes:

• FORD Performing Arts reserves the right to make staff changes at any time, including the use of deputy or cover teachers.

Behaviour and Conduct:

• All students are expected to behave appropriately. Any student who is not kind or respectful will be asked to leave.

Uniform:

• Students are expected to wear clothes they can move in. FORD Academy students should wear the FORD Academy T-shirt for all sessions. FORD Clubs students can stay in their school uniform.

Food and Drink:

• FORD Academy Students should bring appropriate snacks, lunch, and drinks. No nuts are allowed due to allergies and food should not be shared.

 

Session Cancellations:

• If FORD Performing Arts has to cancel a session for any reason, an alternative day will be provided where possible.

• If the student is unable to attend the alternative day/time provided, they will not be eligible for a refund/credit.

• If an alternative day cannot be offered, refunds/credits will be allocated.

 

Photo and Video Consent:

• We ask for consent to use photos and videos of students upon sign-up.

• We will never use a student’s full name on social media but may use their first name for important announcements.

• Consent for photo and video use is optional and can be given or withheld at sign-up.

GDPR Compliance:

• FORD Performing Arts complies with GDPR regulations regarding the collection and use of personal data.

• Customers must notify FORD of any changes to contact or medical details.

• Personal information will be handled confidentially and used only for operational purposes within FORD Performing Arts.
